Design Engineer - Senior Mechanical Design M/F
////// CONTEXT AND MISSION
As part of the development of DEDIENNE AEROSPACE activities, our Design Office wishes to recruit a Design Engineer - Mechanical Design M/F.
Your missions will be to deploy several technical projects within the framework of Dedienne Aerospace activity Programs:
-You develop and study the specifications and technical requirements of the various assigned Client projects. -You design the technical and budgetary responses from the design phase through to realization. -You follow the industrialization and production phases and provide technical expertise to internal partners.
////// JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be part of the DEDIENNE AEROSPACE Design Office, supervised by the Design Office Director and managed by a Department Manager.
Your activities in general are to perform, create, develop, and improve mechanical products:
-Perform a technical and budgetary feasibility study based on a technical need issued by the Client. -Contribute to pre-project reviews with Clients, identify the needs and constraints posed, and participate in costing. -Distribute the specifications to external subcontractors and suppliers. -Develop the global study schedule, evaluate and optimize the time and resources necessary for the accomplishment of the different project stages, and adapt the pacing to evolutions. -Size the technical project by integrating finite element or analytical calculations, and guarantee technical and budgetary feasibility. -Maintain qualification files according to applicable Quality processes and appropriate methods and tools. -Create the overall plan for mechanical studies, compile the sets of plans and associated detail drawings, and write the technical documentation in the study file. -Administer and update the configuration of digital models in dedicated software. -Organize testing campaigns for technical solutions and evolve the design according to test results and the analysis of technical problems encountered. -Analyze the various constraints related to production implementation and propose associated manufacturing methodologies. -Perform technological monitoring on materials and design tools and methods, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
////// PROFILE
You have a higher education degree in Mechanical Engineering, and you demonstrate proven experience of at least 5-7 years in the design of tooling for aeronautics or similar mechanical products: Heavy Vehicles and trailers, nacelles and lifting equipment, agricultural machinery, heavy handling tooling. You are accustomed to using CAD tools: CATIA V5, ABAQUS and ADAMS.
You have a strong mechanical culture and are naturally curious. You know how to be proactive and rigorous within a team. Possessing good interpersonal skills, you are capable of evolving in a dynamic and international environment.
You have at least a B2 level of English, which will allow you to communicate in writing and sometimes orally about your technical projects.
You appreciate the latitude of action and agility of SME environments. Your autonomy and sense of responsibility are your assets, and you have acquired a certain assertiveness that allows you to be confident in your positioning. You are recognized for your proactivity and your desire to provide solutions in order to lead and structure projects.
