Our client portfolio consists of public authorities, ministries, utilities, industrial enterprises as well as both national and international financing institutions. We are looking for Senior Project Manager (f/m/d) - Substations / Transmission Lines to join our team in Frankfurt /Main for a permanent position.

Tasks

Design of Medium- and High Voltage Substations and / or High Voltage Transmission lines Project management, monitoring & scheduling Leading international project teams Guidance of clients in technical and commercial aspects Site visit during planning and construction phase Preparation of tender documents, contract procedures, technical specifications, datasheets, bill of quantities, evaluation of bids, recommendations and negotiations Review of drawings, documents and calculations Factory acceptance tests Customer coordination Leading of technical-, management- and coordination meetings Project budget responsibility Internal and external reporting

Profile

Experience in execution of international Medium-and High Voltage Substation projects and /or High Voltage Transmission Line Projects University degree (i.e. B.Sc. / M.Sc./ B.Eng /Dipl.Ing.) with specialisation in electrical engineering Approx. 10 years of professional experience in the energy sector in international development cooperation/ projects funded by international donor organizations Experience with related design and calculation tools Knowledge of related IEC, ANSI and IEEE standards Experience in contracts and contract management Understanding of commercial project aspects Experience in collaboration with international financing agencies i.e. Development Banks Openness for short-term missions and visits to the countries of assignment for acquisition activities and project support International experience (on site preferable) German and English should be fluent in speaking, writing and reading. Any additional language would be advantageous
