Role Description The Skill Tutor role at Decipher-Academy is a part-time, on-site position based in Nigeria. We’re hiring Skill Tutors!

We’re looking for experienced tutors in Coding, Graphic Design & Video Editing for part-time physical tutoring in schools around Ijegun, Lagos.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in at least one relevant skill area (e.g., academic subjects, technical skills, professional skills) and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Strong instructional and facilitation skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner engagement techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple classes or sessions and maintain accurate records. Experience in tutoring, teaching, coaching, or mentoring is highly beneficial. Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., presentation software, learning platforms) to support instruction and learner communication. Minimum of a relevant diploma or degree in education, training, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may also be considered. Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and continuous professional development.
