Techlead Cloud Network (f/m/d) H/F

Our Core Network team is looking for a Techlead Cloud Network based in Lille or Paris

Our mission is to combine network expertise and DevOps practices to streamline our operations, strengthen automation, and deliver reliable, secure, and scalable network services. This year, we are committed to transforming our network backbone towards a cloud-ready, agile, and resilient model, a crucial challenge to support Decathlon's digital growth.

To support our transformation, we are looking for an experienced TechLead, capable of carrying the technical vision, supporting the team's skill development, and driving high-impact initiatives within a BU of 170 people.

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

You will be the technical reference for critical network components, with a dual responsibility: to build, and to lead the building. Your role will cover the following dimensions:

• Drive the technical roadmap of network components in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Be the main point of contact on complex and critical topics (technical design, architecture choices, decision-making).
• Support the team's Ops (internal and service providers) through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and code/infrastructure reviews.
• Carry a vision of modern engineering: CI/CD integration, infrastructure-as-code, observability, performance, security by design.
• Supervise and guarantee the quality of deliverables (Build & Run).
• Drive continuous improvement, in connection with market trends and the needs of Cloud and Application teams.
• Coordinate and secure delivery phases (deployments, production releases, evolutions).
• Lead network transformation projects, from design to implementation, autonomously.
• Ensure clear and concise reporting to management or business stakeholders.

YOUR TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND

You will work on a scope covering critical network components, in a hybrid and multi-cloud architecture:

• Network Backbone: Bandwidth on Demand, BGP, OSPF, Juniper
• IP Management: Netbox, RFC
• Cloud Transit: Cisco, AWS DirectConnect, GCP Partner Interconnect, Cloud Routers
• Partner Connectivity: VPN IPSEC, SSL, ZTNA
• Private DNS: Route53, CloudDNS, Infoblox, OctoDNS
• Cloud Segmentation: VPC Inspection, Security Groups, PrivateLink, Endpoints
• Cloud Egress Filtering: Fortinet, Zscaler
• Cloud VPC Management (AWS & GCP): Transit Gateway, Shared VPC, PSC, etc.
• Infrastructure Development: Python, Terraform

WHAT YOU BRING

• A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in networking, including part of it as a technical reference or Tech Lead.
• Advanced practice of AWS and/or GCP Cloud environments, with certification (minimum Associate level required).
• Strong skills in infra development (Python, Terraform), as well as a good DevOps culture (CI/CD, GitOps, observability).
• An ability to supervise, coach, and engage a technical team in a collaborative dynamic.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in the functional management of service providers.
• A solid understanding of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and product-oriented processes.
• A strong passion for challenges, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving.
• A professional level of English (B2 minimum) to collaborate with our international partners.
