Accountant

Decathlon Israel continues to grow - we are looking for an Accountant!

We live and breathe sport, and for us, it is a way of life. We are looking for an Accountant with a business vision, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead the company's financial and accounting field, while working in a dynamic, global, and diverse environment.

The role includes:

• Preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports, monthly and annual closings
• Cash flow management, cost control, and risk reduction strategies
• Management of the accounting team, assistant accountant / tax specialist
• Preparation of financial reports accurately and timely, in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements
• Management of the annual audit with the external auditor and leading the process of annual financial report closing and submission to authorities
• Control over ongoing accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll invoices, and tax submission
• Development and implementation of policies and work procedures to reduce financial and operational risks

The work is from the company headquarters in Kfar Saba, full-time position

• Reporting to: CFO
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
• CPA certification and license
• Up to 3 years of experience in an Accountant role
• Experience in the wholesale/retail field - an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in accounting software - Priority – an advantage
• Ability to work independently, thoroughness, precision, and the ability to manage and lead tasks
• Excellent interpersonal relations, interpersonal communication, and the ability to work with multiple interfaces
• High level of English
