Senior Data Scientist - Ecommerce (f/m/d) H/F

Our Digital Analytics Team is looking for a Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d) based in Paris or Lille.

The Digital Analytics team is the engine of data-driven decision-making for Decathlon's Ecommerce. Composed of experts in analytics, experimentation, and data science, our mission is to transform raw data into growth levers. We tackle challenges in personalization on a global scale and customer journey optimization to make sport accessible to the greatest number. YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in data exploration and the creation of intelligent product experiences. Your missions include:

• Designing Advanced Data Science & Analytics solutions: Developing Machine Learning models (predictive and prescriptive) to solve complex problems related to the customer experience.
• Driving end-to-end use cases: From problem discovery to deployment and continuous optimization, you are responsible for the relevance and accuracy of your solutions.
• Exploring and identifying opportunities: Proactively analyzing behaviors and trends to detect major impact levers.
• Collaborating for production: Working hand in hand with Product Managers and engineers to ensure the scalability and reliability of solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING

• End-to-End Expertise: You master the entire lifecycle of a data project (feature engineering, modeling, monitoring).
• Product Culture & Impact: You know how to translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations for the business.
• Mastery of Experimentation: Solid experience in the design and analysis of A/B or multivariate tests.
• Communication: Ability to popularize technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Good level of English, written and oral.

TECHNICAL STACK

• Languages & Frameworks: Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), SQL, Spark / PySpark.
• Environment: Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, Git, MLflow.
• Analytics Tools: Statsig, Amplitude, Tableau.
• Bonus: TensorFlow, PyTorch.
