We are looking for a Senior Data Quality Manager - Corporate Operations People Data based in Lille

At Decathlon, HR transformation involves the implementation of a global platform (WorkDay) and advanced data uses (Analytics, AI). But for these tools to be reliable, the data must be irreproachable. As a Senior Data Quality Manager, you are the guarantor of this trust.

Your mission: transform business requirements into technical control solutions to secure the journey of our employees.

Your Team: a collective of more than 30 experts

You join the People Data team (Data Product Managers, BI Engineers, Data Governance.). You are the preferred point of contact between technical teams and HR business units (WorkForce, Performance, Recruitment, Compensation, Talent Development, Career Management.) to raise the reliability standard of our data.

Your Responsibilities: from business scoping to automation

You manage the complete data quality cycle:

• Business Scoping & Expertise: you organize workshops with Data Owners to understand the data lifecycle, identify points of fragility, and collect quality requirements (management rules, impacts of non-quality)
• Design & Validation: you define the relevance of quality rules, verify their technical feasibility, and document them in our data catalog (Collibra)
• Monitoring Implementation: you design and deploy control tools and visualization dashboards (Tableau) including alert systems to proactively detect inconsistencies
• Automation & Tooling: you implement solutions to automate controls (via Python/Databricks) in order to reduce manual correction tasks
• Continuous Improvement: you drive remediation processes: you don't just observe the error, you help the business units eliminate its root cause
• Community Engagement: you actively participate in the Decathlon DQM community. You contribute to Chapters to share your best practices and evolve the company's governance standards

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for a hybrid profile, capable of being as comfortable in a business workshop as in front of a database:

• Experience: +5 years in Data Quality / Data Management with a "process" vision
• Technical Mastery: solid skills in SQL, Python and knowledge of Cloud environments (Databricks / AWS)
• Interpersonal Skills: you know how to translate technical issues for non-expert interlocutors and demonstrate diplomacy to advance quality
• Rigor & Analysis: Ability to document, structure rules and solve complex data flow problems
• Languages: English level B2 (international context)
