Senior Analytics Engineer - Decathlon M/F

Our Digital Sport Team is looking for an Analytics Engineer (f/m/d) in a permanent contract (CDI) based in Lille (Btwin Village) or Paris.

The Digital Sport - Quality team is at the heart of the design and marketing of Decathlon products (80% of our products are designed in-house!). Composed of experts passionate about tech and data, our team's objective is to build a reliable and robust digital ecosystem. Your role will be crucial in meeting our challenges in industrialization and data valuation, with a direct impact on the experience of millions of athletes around the world.

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

As an Analytics Engineer (f/m/d), your main missions will revolve around the following axes:

• Industrialization & Modeling: Automate and industrialize data transformation pipelines feeding dashboards, AI models, and data analyses. You will build and model the semantic layer of the Sport business domain.
• Strategy & Quality: Define the strategy for our technical stacks and guarantee the quality, reliability, and relevance of the exposed data.
• Evolution of existing systems: Maintain and rethink current datasets as well as pipelines to meet an ever-widening variety of use cases.
• Sharing & Community: Actively contribute to the animation and influence of our internal community of analytics engineers and data engineers.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Significant experience (approximately 3 years or more) in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering, or solid experience in Data Analysis with cross-functional practice in data engineering.
• Proven mastery of at least one major Cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure), the implementation of data transformation pipelines with dbt, as well as SQL and Python technologies.
• Real knowledge of development tools: Git, Github, CI/CD, VSCode.
• A collaborative spirit and ease of working in an agile environment (Scrum / Kanban).
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact daily with our partners spread across 60 countries.
• The little extra: A human sensitivity to the values of sport, a strong team spirit, and the desire to invest yourself in #Tech4Good projects. Knowledge of tools such as Spark, Airflow, Tableau, or emerging technologies of the Modern Data Stack (PolaRS, DuckDB...) will be greatly appreciated.
