Accountant / AP

Decathlon Israel continues to grow - we are looking for an Accountant for our team!

The role includes:

• Responsibility for three main areas: accounting and vendors, pricing and operating profit analyses, reconciliation controls, and regular reporting
• Full operational responsibility for managing the relationship with the main goods supplier, including ensuring proper information flow and full financial documentation
• Leading reconciliation processes for purchase orders, goods receipts, and vendor invoices, while handling exceptions and discrepancies
• Managing and maintaining standard and actual costs, performing pricing controls, and monitoring profitability at the item level
• Responsibility for supporting monthly closings, including inventory cycles and implementing regular controls
• Coding and entering invoices into the accounting books, performing periodic reconciliations, and ensuring alignment between internal records and vendor data
• Maintaining full and organized financial documentation for internal and external audit purposes
• Wide internal and external interfaces
• Reporting to the Chief Accountant

Full-time position from the headquarters in Kfar Saba -

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Bookkeeping
• 4 years of experience in Accounting / AP
• Experience in the retail or manufacturing sectors - a significant advantage
• Proficiency in OFFICE applications in general and Excel in particular
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools, a significant advantage for PRIORITY
• Ability to work with multiple interfaces, attention to detail, time management, and working under pressure
• High level of English - reading, writing, and speaking
