Supply Chain Manager

Debyl Limited is a Port Harcourt based ISO 9001:2015 QMS certified technical maintenance and procurement services company in the Nigeria Oil and Gas sector.

We are currently in need of a Supply Chain Manager to join our organization in our Port Harcourt Office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments, and clients
• Prepare accurate and economic pricing of tenders with due regard to vendor/ sub-contractor positions and market forces
• Keeping accurate records of all procurement files and using them as reference for the future
• Ensuring suppliers are aware of business objectives
• Ensuring suppliers are aware of any special requirements in respect of shipment/ handling of hazardous goods
• Monitoring safe receipt of goods by obtaining confirmation of delivery
• Developing and maintaining contracts with vendors/ sub-contractors
• Instruct freight agents on Customs clearance of materials entering the country from other countries.
• eSourcing from our partner OEMs and other OEMs
• Ensure the company is registered and remain active on various eBusiness platforms where our customers transact business like SAP ARIBA, GEP, NipeX etc.
• Ensure Quotations/ proposal are sent to clients before the deadline.
• DPR certificate renewal and new registration(s)
• Ensure the company remain active on NCDMB NOGIC JQS platform
• Ensure application for NCEC and NOGIC certificates and their annual renewal
• Manage all purchase orders from clients and the ones issued to local vendors.
• Manage material logistics (inbound freight, documentation & clearing)
• Co-ordinate material management, warehousing, and logistics
• Manage material deliveries
• Register Form ‘M’ for imported goods
• Partake in Bid packaging
• Vendor / sub-contractor management
• Processing SONCAP, NAFDAC Permit etc when required
• Other Procurement Dept tasks as necessary.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Financial and numerical skills
• 7 to 10 years experience required
• High-level of attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS (Minimum)

• First Degree (B.SC, B.A, B.Eng, HND etc).
• Internal auditor’s training.
