De Sociale Maatschap organizes the neighborhood teams in Amsterdam Noord and Zuid and is active in the social foundation in Amsterdam Noord. For the dynamic and challenging Molenwijk in Amsterdam-Noord, we are immediately looking for a Neighborhood Team Member Welcome for 32 hours per week.

Job Description No Amsterdammer is the same, no question or problem is the same. That is why the job of neighborhood team member is so versatile. Do you enjoy dealing with many different issues during a workday? Then join our Neighborhood Team in Molenwijk. All kinds of Amsterdammers knock on our door, such as elderly people, youth, status holders, and multi-problem families. Sometimes there are questions about facilities, or finding a home, and other times it is about informal care, mental health problems, or addiction.

What will you do? Amsterdammers can come to the Neighborhood Team in all sorts of different ways. You are the first point of contact for Amsterdammers who call us, who walk in, and who contact us via email. You ensure that Amsterdammers feel welcome at the Neighborhood Team and you ask how the Neighborhood Team can help them. You schedule appointments and, if it is a shorter question, you sometimes help people directly.

What do you bring? As a neighborhood team member, you are an addition to the team in Molenwijk. Your activities will mainly focus on speaking to Amsterdammers, so we are looking for someone who is customer-friendly and can give Amsterdammers a warm welcome on the phone, via email, or at our location. It is important that you also speak English. Just like your colleagues, you are deployable for the diverse questions asked of us. These include areas such as the elderly, GGZ, status holders, and health.

What else we are looking for in you: You are socially skilled, enthusiastic, driven, and entrepreneurial.

You have at least a completed, relevant MBO 4 education in Social Work.

You have experience with social work/community work and/or outpatient support work.

You can switch gears quickly, but don't let yourself get overwhelmed.

Ideally, you are familiar with the social map and the care network of Amsterdam.

You know what it is like to work with Amsterdammers from diverse backgrounds.

You reflect on your own actions and like to learn from experiences.

You enjoy speaking to people on the phone and also like working at a neighborhood team location.

Furthermore, you can count on: a salary according to cao Sociaal Werk in scale 6 or 7 depending on your education level, minimum € 2,964.- and maximum € 4,832.- for a full-time employment (36 hours) reference date October 1, 2026
