Techician
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Technician with at least 3 years of continuous employment in a relevant technical role. The candidate should have basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, be willing to work closely with the Operations team, and learn the company’s cleaning processes and equipment.
TECHNICIAN – CLEANING MACHINES & EQUIPMENT
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Operations teams to perform carpet, mattress and upholstery cleaning duties.
- Understand how cleaning machines are used on-site and identify operational or equipment-related problems.
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair cleaning machines and equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime.
- Replace faulty parts and carry out electrical/mechanical repairs where appropriate.
- Test machines after servicing or repair to ensure they are safe and functioning properly.
- Maintain basic servicing and repair records.
- Assist in sourcing spare parts and evaluating new equipment when required.
- Perform other Operations duties when required.
Requirements
- Basic electrical knowledge is required.
- Hands-on experience in servicing or repairing electrical or mechanical equipment.
- Willing to perform cleaning duties and learn the company’s operating processes.
- Practical, hands-on and able to troubleshoot problems independently.
- Experience with cleaning machines, vacuum equipment, extraction machines, pumps or similar equipment would be an advantage.
- Able to work well with different team members.
- Relevant NITEC, Higher NITEC or technical certification would be an advantage.
- Class 3 driving licence would be an advantage.
Working Hours
Normal working hours are approximately 8:00am to 6:00pm , subject to daily job schedules and operational requirements. Longer working hours may be required during peak periods.
