Development Engineer Engine and Exhaust Systems

Your Tasks

• Development and calibration of internal combustion engines and exhaust aftertreatment systems for upcoming emission regulations
• Calibration of control unit parameters relevant to combustion and exhaust aftertreatment
• Development of new control functions
• Testing of engines on the test bench, evaluation of combustion/emission/fuel consumption behavior
• Planning and organization of measuring equipment

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering, preferably with a focus on powertrain technology or internal combustion engines
• Knowledge in the field of combustion/emission behavior of internal combustion engines
• Knowledge in the application of Matlab/Simulink
• Experience in measurements on the engine test bench and vehicle using PUMA, INCA, CAMEO and Uniplot
• Analytical skills and a problem-solving mentality
• Very good English skills and strong intercultural and communicative skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
