About the company

Our Amsterdam team in a nutshell: We are proud to be a very diverse team, both in terms of gender, nationality, and work experience. In our team, you will work for young, international clients such as Vinted, Auto1, and Emma Sleep, who want to advertise for their innovative companies in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Our Amsterdam team consists of 7 people who are responsible for DCMN's campaigns in the Benelux. Additionally, we work closely with colleagues in Berlin on pan-European accounts such as Uniqlo. DCMN is not a network of companies in multiple countries: we are one company, one DCMN, with teams in multiple countries.

Your tasks

How you will make an impact

• Developing and maintaining close relationships with senior contacts at publishers via telephone and email, to keep them informed of account status
• Developing and maintaining close relationships with senior contact persons on the client side, also at a strategic level
• Guiding, creating, and editing reports for our clients (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Translating client campaign goals into detailed media plans, primarily for ATL media campaigns
• Presenting the (direct response) results of TV, radio, and OOH campaigns to clients, placing them in context, and applying the lessons to future campaigns
• Managing the growth and development of the planners
• Being a thought leader within the team regarding trends and developments in the market

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Media Planner with at least 7 years of experience, who can strengthen our team with experience and knowledge and who can be a shining example for our planners.

You will be working in English with most clients and internally with DCMN colleagues, Dutch with most partners in NL and BE.

Skills you need to be successful

• At least 7 years of work experience in (offline) media planning or marketing at an advertiser or media agency
• Proficiency with Excel and an analytical mindset
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• Flexibility and a hands-on mentality: you can perform different tasks simultaneously, constantly revise your priorities, and support other team members in doing so
• You love being part of a team that collaborates and shares knowledge, but you also enjoy working independently and taking responsibility for your projects
