Video Surveillance & Video Analytics Lead Engineer - EV

Role Summary Lead the design, implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, and Level 3 maintenance of Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) and Video Analytics Systems (VAS). Serve as the technical lead for surveillance projects and provide expert support throughout the system lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Lead system design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of surveillance and video analytics solutions (e.g. Axis, Milestones, Ipsotek, Hikvision, ANPR and etc.)

Manage integration with command & control, security, traffic, and third-party systems.

Oversee deployment and optimization of video analytics, including AI-based detection, ANPR, object classification, and incident monitoring.

Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting, maintenance, technology refresh, and system upgrades.

Support tendering, technical proposal development, and customer engagements.

Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, quality, and operational requirements.

Mentor and guide engineers and technical teams.

Requirements Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in surveillance, security, or ICT systems.

Strong knowledge of IP cameras, VMS, video analytics, networking, servers, storage, and system integration.

Experience managing large-scale surveillance projects and maintenance operations.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience Video Management Systems (Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Nx Witness)

ANPR/Traffic Surveillance Systems

Smart City, Building, or Critical Road Infrastructure projects
