Due to our constant growth and the large number of recruitment projects carried out for our partners, we are currently looking for a person for the position of: Windows Platform Engineer

Daily tasks

  • Redesigning and improving Windows patch management processes using SCCM.
  • Designing and implementing infrastructure automation using PowerShell and CI/CD technologies.
  • Creating and maintaining Group Policies (GPO) and basic Windows security baselines.
  • Acting as a Windows operating systems specialist and providing expert knowledge in the broader infrastructure area, including Active Directory, networking, storage, and virtualization.
  • Supporting the process of creating and automatically deploying new Windows system images.
  • Supporting the migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
  • Close cooperation with the Platform Owner and the Scrum team in implementing the engineering backlog and continuously improving the platform.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and administrative support for Windows Server environments.
  • Creating technical documentation intended for engineers, architects, and end users.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements that increase automation, stability, security, and the operational efficiency of the platform.
  • Working in a SAFe / Scrum delivery model.

Requirements

Requirements: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Windows Server administration and engineering. Very good knowledge of Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic network services such as DNS and DHCP. Advanced scripting and automation skills in PowerShell. Extensive practical experience with SCCM, particularly in patch management and configuration. Experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD processes, working with Git, and Jira. Good knowledge of hybrid environments, including on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP. Knowledge of infrastructure areas such as: networking, storage, virtualization, backup, failover clustering, and disaster recovery. Very good problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Very good command of the English language in communication. Nice to have: Experience in AI-based automation or knowledge of self-healing infrastructure concepts (infrastructure capable of automatically detecting and fixing problems). Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server. Knowledge of Linux. Programming or scripting experience in Python or other programming languages.
