pharmacy assistant
A pharmacy assistant makes sure that the pharmacy operates efficiently and has an important role in assisting the pharmacist in filling prescriptions. Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Assist in maintaining inventories of medication and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure the prescription records have accurate information and enter client information in the database.
- Create an oral compound solution, ointments and creams as per the pharmacist?s instructions.
- Bill insurance companies.
- Prepare blister packs
- Provide customer service and retrieve prescriptions for transactions at the cash counter.
- Answer phone calls, emails or customer inquiries in a professional manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
