head baker

Dawson General Store is looking for an experienced Head Baker to take the lead in our bakery. This is a hands-on position for someone who loves baking from scratch and can lead a highly skilled team while keeping production organized, consistent and efficient.

The current schedule for this position is 3am-11am, Monday - Friday , although we are open to discussing a later or earlier start time, or possibly a 4 day work week.

You must have a passion for baking, be familiar with following recipes and have experience in a commercial kitchen using commercial equipment.

We make a selection of breads, buns, cakes, cookies, etc. You will be responsible for producing all of these items from scratch. You must be detail oriented and ensure all products adhere to our quality and consistency standards. You must be reliable, organized, and creative.

We have a very fun and friendly kitchen. We encourage new ideas and creativity from our team and will welcome any new recipes or thoughts you may have.

Wage is dependent on your experience.

Please note, you must have your own transportation as we are not located on a bus route.
