The position:

As part of a technical assistance project, we are looking for a Toxicologist for one of our clients in the animal health sector. You will work at the client site located in the PACA region, near Nice.

Reporting to the Toxicology team within Product Innovation, you will take charge of the Toxicology section of registration dossiers (studies, documentation synthesis, expertise) in order to obtain marketing authorization for products on a global level.

Your missions will be as follows:

  • Manage outsourced toxicology studies (toxicology, target species tolerance, user and environmental safety), according to current regulations: selection of CROs based on their expertise and received quotes, review and validation of protocols, monitoring the implementation and progress of the study, analysis of results, review and validation of reports;
  • Participate in the development of project development plans and provide technical support to subsidiaries in the implementation of their studies and submissions;
  • Write the Toxicology and Residue parts of MA dossiers for registration in targeted geographical areas (particularly EU and US): selection of documentation and studies, writing the documentation synthesis (URA, ERA?), ensuring consistency between parts III and IV of European dossiers in collaboration with other stakeholders;
  • Defend dossiers on Toxicology and Residue aspects (LOQ, CI, renewals), for both new products and products in operation: participation in consultations with agencies (presentation of toxicology results and the development plan), responding to agency questions within the required deadlines;
  • Perform various scientific and techno-regulatory evaluations (impurities, products in production, "less regulated" products, licensing opportunities, HSE, projects in the exploratory phase): evaluation of risks, deadlines, and costs (gap analysis), participation in due diligence operations, evaluation of the quality of presented safety data;
  • Participate in chemo-safety and HSE group meetings.

Profile sought:

Pharmacist or scientist by training, holding a PhD in toxicology, you have 2 to 5 years of experience in managing toxicology studies in a GLP environment; You also have significant experience in managing preclinical studies within the framework of drug development, including toxicology studies on animal models (experience limited to ecotoxicology or environmental assessment does not meet the requirement); You are used to working daily with CROs / subcontractors, from the choice of provider to the operational monitoring of studies; You have good knowledge of veterinary drug registration regulations and the compilation of MA dossiers (EU and US); You are capable of managing about ten dossiers in parallel (approximately 5 simultaneous projects) and are sensitive to animal ethics issues; Proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken, is required for this mission (regular exchanges with CROs and American teams).

What we are looking for above all are personalities who participate in the development of DAVRICOURT and form a network of interconnected talents who are not afraid to assert their difference. You are unique, we are different, let's meet!
