The position:

As part of a technical assistance project, we are looking for a CAD Manager / Router for one of our clients in the embedded electronics sector. You will work at the client site located in the Lyon region.

Your missions will be as follows:

• Perform technical developments related to printed circuit boards: schematic entry, placement, routing, and stack-up definition
• Guarantee the placement and routing of complex electronic boards in compliance with industry standards (IPC class 3) and verify design compliance with specifications
• Ensure follow-up until the validation of prototypes, then pre-series and series, in close partnership with electronics engineers
• Prepare design files (specifications, justifications, RoHS, REACH) and ensure their renewal
• Prepare and validate industrialization files for transfer to the production unit (internal manufacturing or subcontracting)
• Manage the follow-up and application of modification sheets across all products (coordination, training, support)
• Act as the technical referent in the field of printed circuit boards, supervise the CAD technician team, and support their skill development
• Ensure maintenance of CAD IT tools, license management, and technological monitoring
• Apply Quality standards in R&D (ISO 9001, IRIS, EN 9100, ISO 14001), participate in audits and supplier approvals, and contribute to the continuous improvement process

Profile sought:

• With a BTS or DUT degree primarily in electronics, you have at least 2 years of experience in electronic board routing, in an industrial environment with high regulatory requirements (railway, defense, energy)
• You master the placement and routing of complex electronic boards as well as PCB stack-up definition
• You have an in-depth knowledge of the complete electronic board creation process, from design to industrialization
• You have good knowledge of IPC standards (class 3, IPC-A-600)
• Experience in technical supervision or leading a small team is a real asset
• Proficiency in professional English is required for this mission (reading standards and documentation, supplier exchanges)
