The position:

As part of a technical assistance project, we are looking for a Product Configuration Project Manager (M/F) for one of our clients in the industrial sector. You will work at the client site located in the Rennes region.

Your missions will be as follows:

• Guarantee the consistency, traceability, and control of product configurations throughout the entire life cycle (sales, design, industrialization, operation).
• Define and enforce configuration management rules as well as associated plans by product range.
• Manage versions and baselines (milestones such as PDR, CDR, TRR) and secure the preparation of technical reviews.
• Lead configuration and impact reviews (technical, industrial, quality, logistics) while ensuring the completeness of deliverables.
• Coordinate product evolutions and change requests (ECR/ECO), in connection with technical and business teams.
• Guarantee consistency between different nomenclatures and referentials (eBOM, mBOM, ERP, documentation, software, firmware).
• Ensure the monitoring and updating of configurations in tools (PLM/ERP) as well as the catalog of versions and options.
• Perform configuration audits and controls to demonstrate product compliance with internal and client requirements.
• Produce and monitor maturity, data consistency, and release progress indicators.
• Maintain version history, identify the impacts of evolutions, and secure the associated documentation.

Profile sought:

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in systems engineering, mechanics, electronics, or equivalent.
• Experience in configuration management, systems engineering, or product data management in an industrial environment.
• Good understanding of complex systems (mechatronics, electronics, software).
• Mastery of PLM / ERP tools and nomenclature management processes.
• Knowledge of change management processes (ECR/ECO) and the product life cycle.
• Ability to lead technical reviews and coordinate teams. Rigor and documentary excellence.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
• Strong interpersonal and transverse communication skills.
• Team spirit and sense of coordination.
• Fluent English required.
