The position:

As part of a technical assistance project, we are looking for a Commodity Buyer for one of our clients. You will work at the client site located in the Somme (80).

In this capacity, your daily missions will be as follows:

• Manage and optimize a supplier panel during the series phase: sourcing, selection, contracting, panel rationalization, and deployment of the commodity strategy defined at the Group level;
• Ensure supplier QCD (Quality / Cost / Delivery) performance: KPI management, cost reduction and optimization actions (cost saving, TCO, BOM analysis), supplier risk management;
• Manage supplier quality and industrialization: APQP, PPAP, audits, qualification/validation, management of supplier changes, and support during ramp-up phases;
• Ensure purchasing reporting, budget monitoring, and act as the interface with quality, industrialization, methods, supply chain, and project teams.

Profile sought:

• Engineer or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or equivalent, you have proven experience in industrial series / commodity purchasing, in a railway, automotive, aeronautical, or structured manufacturing industry environment;
• You also have significant experience in managing supplier panels, negotiation, and contracting, with demonstrated concrete savings and mastery of TCO;
• You have skills in supplier QCD performance, APQP/PPAP process management, and conducting supplier audits;
• You have good knowledge of industrial series environments with structured purchasing processes at the Group level; experience in ramp-up and supplier industrialization is highly appreciated;
• Proficiency in professional English is required for this project.
