Your tasks

DAUB is hiring sales associates for our holiday season! We'll be set up at Art Market at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary from Nov 18-22. This event is well attended and a lot of fun to work. We meet our clients face to face and help them find their new favourite pieces from DAUB.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • friendly, approachable and able to educate and excite people about our products.
  • reliable, trustworthy and on time.
  • knowledgeable about our product; training manual will be provided ahead of time.
  • able to provide product information and aid with sizing/styles for each customer.
  • upsell customers graciously by offering other products they would love.
  • restock as necessary.
  • manage inventory on floor and in back stock.
  • ring thru sales using POS system on cell phone/tablet and Moneris. Must have a cell phone to download the POS and work off of it.
  • punctual and respectful of other staff.
  • help with set up and tear down as well as shipping the palette to the next destination.
  • sales: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Language

  • English fluently (required)

Position starts with set up Nov 18. I can work around schedules a bit but shifts will ideally be 6-8 hours long. Wednesday, November 18 - 12:00am-6:00pm Thursday November 19 - 10:00am-9:00pm Friday, November 20 - 10:00am-9:00pm Saturday, November 21 - 10:00am-6:00pm Sunday, November 22 - 10:00pm-9:00pm
