pre-sales engineer

Technology company, we are looking for a Pre-sales Engineer to join our team in Bogotá. We are looking for a professional with a technical-commercial vision, capable of designing IT solutions tailored to client needs and supporting the commercial team in structuring winning proposals.

Main functions:

• hold meetings with clients and the commercial executive to determine needs and design customized solutions;
• gather functional and technological requirements to project the solutions to be offered;
• provide timely responses to RFI and technically interpret tender documents and invitations to bid;
• design solution architectures from the technical component;
• support the Commercial Management and the Pre-sales Leader in the generation of commercial proposals (technical description, sizing of resources and times);
• develop technical-commercial proposals together with manufacturers, wholesalers, or allies;
• define the hardware and software infrastructure and the services required for the implementation of the solutions;
• follow up on all technical aspects of the proposals in development;
• advise the client on technological issues, identifying new business opportunities;
• report the status of assigned projects to the Pre-sales Leader;
• and obtain and maintain current the necessary certifications from the various manufacturers.

Requirements:

professional in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT project design (preferably data center infrastructure), basic technical English, proficiency in office tools and IT solution architecture, and knowledge of Capex/Opex schemes.

Desirable:

manufacturer certifications.
