As a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you will join the cloud services development team of the Visualization domain at Dassault Systèmes. This team, within the department in charge of rendering engines, ensures the development of SAAS services that automate data preparation and thus ensures an optimal user experience for manipulating the 3D model quickly in all CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA applications.

Your missions:

Cloud services lifecycle:

• Specification, development, optimization, automated testing, maintenance, and deployment of software components and Cloud services.
• Maintenance in operational conditions (MCO): anomaly correction, incident management, application of security patches.
• Monitoring of service performance and availability (monitoring, alerting, occasional on-call).

Migration and modernization of the current infrastructure:

• Planning and execution of the migration of Cloud services from a VM architecture to a containerized architecture (Docker / Kubernetes).
• Containerization of existing applications: Java / Tomcat webapps and native C++ services.
• Database migration: transition from MariaDB to NuoDB, adaptation of data access layers, and integrity validation.

The position is subject to interventions (compensated and increased) on certain weekends for maintenance windows and Cloud service updates.

Your qualifications:

• Significant experience of at least 5 years as a software engineer on complex codebases in a production environment.
• Solid mastery of Java (JVM, Tomcat, webapp deployment, tuning) or modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
• Proven experience in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (deployment, networking, Helm).
• Mastery of CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins or equivalent) and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MariaDB / MySQL); any experience with NuoDB or a distributed NewSQL database will be strongly appreciated.
• Good understanding of Cloud architectures (AWS, GCP or Azure) and high availability and resilience principles.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
