Dance Ensemble Singapore is seeking a Junior Arts Operations Executive to support the daily operations of our arts education programmes and performances.
This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and individuals starting their careers to gain hands-on experience in arts administration, customer engagement, event coordination, and programme operations within a vibrant arts environment.
No prior experience is required. Training and guidance will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Customer Support
- Attend to enquiries from students, parents and members of the public
- Provide information on programmes, schedules and fees
- Assist with registrations, enrolments and class administration
- Maintain accurate student records and database information
Operations & Administration
- Support daily front desk and administrative operations
- Prepare invoices, process payments and maintain proper records
- Assist with petty cash handling and basic finance administration
- Coordinate class schedules, venue bookings and resource allocation
- Prepare operational reports and administrative documents
Events & Programme Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of performances, events and workshops
- Support ticketing, guest registration and event logistics
- Liaise with vendors, participants and stakeholders when required
- Provide on-site operational support during performances and special events
Communications & Outreach
- Support customer communications and follow-ups
- Assist with social media content updates and marketing activities
- Promote programmes and events through various communication channels
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification
- No experience required. Training will be provided
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-oriented with a positive and pleasant personality
- Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Interest in arts, education or performing arts is an advantage
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
Working Hours
- 5-day work week (including weekends)
- Wednesday & Friday: 12:00pm to 9:00pm
- Saturday, Sunday & Monday: 9:00am to 6:00pm
- Fixed off days: Tuesday & Thursday
Salary & Benefits
Salary: S$2,900 to S$3,300 per month
