YOUR ROLE

You are responsible for the further development of our quality and compliance processes and ensure that standards are lived within the plant. In close cooperation with production, technology, and management, you will drive optimizations and implement sustainable improvements with a noticeable impact. You can expect a family-like environment in an international production facility - with plenty of creative freedom for your expertise.

YOUR TASKS

Quality Management

• Responsibility for quality management & quality assurance, including leading the QA team and further developing the quality organization
• Promoting a strong quality culture and continuous improvements
• Analysis, documentation, and optimization of central business processes
• Audit management: audit programs, internal audits, preparation for external audits
• Control of relevant quality KPIs and derivation of effective measures
• Further development of document management
• Leading QM projects with the management and internal departments

Integrated Management System

• Further development of the IMS according to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001
• Coordination of improvement measures and maintenance of central organizational documents
• Preparation of the annual environmental statement

Compliance

• Expansion of compliance management including legal inspections, decision management, and reporting
• Implementation of the inspection according to §82b GewO
• Derivation and support of action plans

FSC/PEFC - Sustainability certifications for responsible wood origin

• Ensuring FSC/PEFC conformity including documentation, material labeling, and ongoing updating of all relevant documents

Your Profile:

• Higher technical or economic education (HTL/FH/University degree)
• Training as a Quality Manager/Quality Auditor is an advantage
• Several years of experience in the QM environment in a manufacturing setting, as well as proven implementation of successful improvement and optimization measures
• Leadership experience is an advantage but not a requirement - what is important to us is the willingness to take on responsibility and to develop further in this role
• Confident handling of QM tools as well as Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma (Green Belt)
• Knowledge of the relevant ISO standards
• Good understanding of economic contexts
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working and clear decision-making ability
• Assertiveness combined with a constructive, team-oriented style
• Resilience and flexibility, even in dynamic or demanding situations
• Very good English skills
• Advanced IT skills, especially in MS Office
• Willingness to travel max. 10% to our locations in Austria/Switzerland/Germany
