Industrial Equipment Field Technician

Daltec Α.Ε. is engaged in the trade of mechanical equipment & materials for the signage, digital printing, and general advertising construction markets. The product range consists of high-tech machinery that can be customized to customer needs and specially designed software solutions. In addition to specialized equipment, the company provides installation, technical support, maintenance, and repairs in professional/industrial facilities. As part of the development of the technical department, DALTEC ΑΕΒΕ is seeking a Field Repair & Installation Technician, who will join the technical team and undertake tasks both at the company's facilities and at customer facilities throughout Greece. The engineer will work alongside experienced members of the technical team and, depending on their experience, will gradually take on a greater degree of autonomy.

Duties and responsibilities Diagnosis and restoration of mechanical faults in industrial equipment. Preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery. Repair, replacement, and adjustment of mechanical parts and mechanisms. Assembly, installation, and commissioning of machinery. Service and troubleshooting of technical problems at customer facilities throughout Greece. Collaboration with the technical department for the comprehensive handling of complex problems. Recording of service tasks and updating the company on the status of the equipment. Preparation and conduct of training for operators and managers regarding machine operation. Required Qualifications: Degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical specialty. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and mechanisms. Ability to understand technical problems and search for solutions. Willingness for practical work and working on machinery. Responsibility, consistency, and organizational skills. Ability to work both autonomously and within a team. Willingness for continuous training and acquisition of new technical knowledge. Very good knowledge of the English language. Driver's license. Ability and willingness to travel throughout Greece.

Previous experience in the following will be particularly appreciated: Service or maintenance of machinery in professional or industrial facilities.
