Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe dining experience for our guests. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a quick service or fast food setting.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high-quality presentation.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area for guests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Adhere to all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers.

Requirements:

Please note that this is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and requires availability for both morning and evening shifts, seven days a week. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food environments. Culinary experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food preparation techniques.
