Do you want to see how an individual customer request becomes a real bus on the road? In the Control Stand for Customer Special Requests Low Floor, you are right in the middle of it: You evaluate, coordinate, and enable customer-specific solutions – from clearly defined equipment wishes to complex technical special scopes. In doing so, you combine technology, process understanding, and communication, ensuring that customer requests are realized in a technically feasible, economically sensible, and on-schedule manner.

Our team thrives on technical interest, a pragmatic will to find solutions, and close cooperation with many process partners. We work openly, directly, and at eye level – and we welcome people who take responsibility, ask questions, and find good solutions together with others.

The role offers you an exceptionally broad view of the entire bus business: You will get first-hand experience with vehicle technology, customer requirements, production logic, order processing, and development interfaces. This allows you to build a strong technical and cross-functional network – an ideal basis for professional and personal growth.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• You manage customer-specific special requests from the inquiry to technical release and ensure that ideas become realizable solutions.
• You analyze technical feasibility, variants, and dependencies and find viable solutions together with the specialist departments.
• You get technical information to the point, create transparency, and ensure that all participants work with a reliable decision-making basis.
• You connect development, sales, production, after sales, and the customer perspective – and keep the threads together even with complex topics.
• You contribute technical expertise to customer discussions and help translate wishes into feasible, economic, and compliant solutions.
• You help to set up the KSW control stand for the future – more digital, transparent, and effective for our customers and process partners.

Qualifications

WHY YOU FIT US

Ideally, you qualify for this job with:

• You have completed vocational training with a completed qualified specialist training, for example, state-certified technician in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, or comparable training
• Experience in development, technical order clarification, or offer/order processing – ideally in the bus or vehicle environment
• Enjoyment in understanding, structuring, and clarifying technical contexts with various specialist departments
• Confident handling of SAP, Microsoft Office, and digital work tools; more important than tool perfection is the willingness to actively help shape new system worlds
• Interest in future topics such as electrification, software functions, data quality, and process improvement
• Good English skills for cooperation in an international environment

Additionally, you bring:

• Analytical, structured thinking skills as well as high independence and willingness to take responsibility
• Strong communication skills, confident appearance, and assertiveness in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to work in a team, willingness to learn, and enjoyment of cooperation at eye level
• Openness to change and interest in integrating new technologies into KSW processing in a practical manner
