Line Technician (M/F)

Under the authority of the Production Supervisor

General Missions:

• Supervises the production of assembly lines around cadence and quality objectives
• Manages the production personnel assigned to these assembly lines
• Ensures the implementation and effectiveness of production means

Missions: Production Team Management

• Ensures the implementation and documentation of safety instructions and training on standards for assigned personnel (internal and temporary)
• Communicates and motivates the team around production and quality objectives

Production Means Management

• Ensures the startup and shutdown of installations
• Performs the installation and changeover of production tools
• Performs first-level maintenance of equipment (TPM, leaks, adjustments, etc.)

Productivity and Quality Management

• Enforces and audits defined production and quality standards
• Fills in the production report (quantity produced, rejects, stops, number of people on line, etc.) and communicates the results obtained to their teams
• Ensures productivity continuity with other production stations. Passing on instructions regarding machine status, status of produced parts, and changes in standards

Continuous Improvement

• Analyzes problems encountered in terms of productivity and quality
• Documents and quantifies the results of analyses performed on problems
• Leads problem-solving meetings (QPR type) according to the frequency defined with their hierarchy
• Proposes and implements ideas for improving assembly lines

Safety:

• Respects instructions and safety rules related to the company, the production workshop, and the specific workstation
• Knows and applies rules regarding the wearing of PPE
• Alerts their hierarchy in case of a malfunction creating a safety risk

Environment:

• Respects factory waste sorting rules (ordinary waste, hazardous waste, recyclable waste, etc.)
• Reports environmental incidents detected through observations to their hierarchy (e.g., water leak, oil leak, etc.)
• Applies cleaning rules for the production workshop and the workstation (5S)

Quality:

• Knows and applies quality procedures related to the company and their workstation
• Ensures the application of quality requirements
• Raises awareness among their teams regarding quality alerts and customer complaints

Team:

• Respects internal regulations, service memos, and specific instructions
• Respects the established hierarchy within the department
• Applies workstation rotation rules
• Respects the equipment and tools provided
• Positions themselves as a leader of the assigned assembly lines

Hard Skills:

• Knowledge in the fields of mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Use of IT tools (data entry, use of an ERP)

Soft Skills: Reactivity, dexterity, diplomacy, initiative, leadership, pedagogy, analytical skills

Language: English (reading only)

2*8 shift with the possibility of doing night shift replacements
