Finance Manager (Single Family Office, SFO, Open-minded and friendly working environment)
About the Role
Our client is a Single Family Office (SFO) based in Singapore, managing a diversified portfolio of private and public market investments across multiple jurisdictions. This role is a key operational position responsible for end-to-end finance, fund administration, and regulatory compliance functions. It offers a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a broad and meaningful remit within a lean, high-trust environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping for the SFO and its associated holding entities, and coordinate periodic audits with external auditors
- Manage corporate tax filings, annual statutory returns, and transfer pricing documentation in liaison with external tax advisors and corporate secretaries
- Track portfolio performance and produce regular AUM reports, including reconciliation of capital account statements and management of capital calls and distribution receipts
- Monitor liquidity positions and maintain an up-to-date view of cash balances, capital commitments, and unfunded obligations across multiple currencies and jurisdictions
- Administer fund investment documentation, including subscription agreements, KYC/AML packs, FATCA and CRS-related forms, and annual tax packs
- Manage banking and custodian relationships, overseeing account maintenance, signatory updates, and execution of transfers and redemptions within approved authorisation frameworks
- Handle internal office finance operations including payroll, CPF contributions, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and support budgeting and management reporting to senior leadership
- Maintain AML/CFT records, support Singapore regulatory compliance obligations, coordinate CRS and FATCA reporting, and manage D&O and professional indemnity insurance renewals
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, fund administration, or operations, ideally within a family office, fund manager, private bank, or financial-services-focused audit firm
- Solid grounding in Singapore regulatory and tax fundamentals, including ACRA filings, corporate tax, GST, and AML/CFT frameworks; familiarity with FATCA and CRS reporting obligations (is a bonus)
- Exposure to investment operations, fund accounting, or portfolio reporting (is a bonus)
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; partial or full professional qualification (CA, CPA, or ACCA) is welcome
- Highly meticulous, discreet, and dependable — able to independently own a function while exercising sound judgement on when to escalate or engage external advisors
