Mission Description

Position to be filled in CDI,

Reputed for its high-quality services, the Dachser group has one of the largest integrated networks in Europe. Composed of experts, our operations teams organize and manage supply and distribution on a national and European scale to guarantee a high level of performance to our customers.

Within our agency in Les Arcs sur Argens, specialized in European industrial freight transport by road, your main mission will be to supervise the various production services of the agency.

Do you wish to contribute to the development of our customers by managing international goods flows?

As a Production Manager M/F, your tasks will be to:

• Globally manage (information, animation, coordination, control, ...) the production services: trucking, long-distance, dock, freight forwarding
• Analyze performance indicators with the objectives of optimizing production costs and processes
• Develop, implement, and monitor/control action plans
• Conduct feasibility studies in collaboration with all services, agencies, and subsidiaries of the group
• Manage subcontracting services: negotiation, monitoring, ...
• Manage and lead the technical relationship with customers
• Drive projects related to production organization, in collaboration with the various stakeholders concerned (internal services, headquarters, external providers, ...)

Profile

With higher education in the transport/logistics sector, you benefit from a minimum of 5 years of experience which has allowed you to develop and put into practice your expertise in transport operations and the management of operational teams.

You master the technical constraints of transport as well as the company's activity and its external environment (competition, cost, deadlines, quality, geographic sector...)

As the group operates in an international context, you have a good level of English and benefit from strong writing and oral skills.

You also possess a good command of office tools and project management.

Endowed with good interpersonal skills, you are organized, autonomous, result-oriented, and seek performance. Your increased sense of transport operations and your management skills make you a preferred interlocutor. You also know how to be proactive and manage priorities.

Internally, you also know how to work in collaboration with all the services, agencies, and subsidiaries of the group.
