Your tasks
Do you want to contribute to the development of our customers by managing international freight flows?
Within our La Verrie agency, your main mission will be to manage the agency's freight activities.
As Freight Manager M/F, your tasks will be to:
- Ensure the management, administration, and development of the Freight department
- Conduct relationships with customers
- Manage and control the department's freight operations while respecting profitability and quality imperatives
- Maintain and develop the freight customer portfolio
- Manage freight for loads destined for Europe and France
- Organize and coordinate the department in direct relation with the production department
Requirements
With higher education in Transport / Logistics or International Trade, you have 5 years__ of experience which has allowed you to develop and put into practice your expertise in freight.
As the group operates in an international context, you have a good level of English and possess strong writing and oral skills.
You master freight and international trade techniques and tools. You also have a good knowledge of geography, legislation, and market prices.
You also possess a good command of office tools.
Possessing good interpersonal skills, you are a unifier, autonomous, rigorous, and tolerant of pressure. You have a spirit of initiative and a capacity to negotiate. Your heightened sense of freight and your listening skills make you a preferred interlocutor. You also know how to be proactive and know how to manage priorities.
Internally, you also know how to work in collaboration with all the group's departments, agencies, and subsidiaries.
