Senior Data Engineer (M/F)

DACHSER's centralized and homogeneous IT system on a global scale is one of the essential success factors of our Group.

Comprised of 700 business experts across the world, our teams cover all IT professions in a high-availability environment. They support customer needs to respond as efficiently as possible and assist them in managing large-scale projects.

At the heart of our IT Hub in Chanverrie, you will evolve within a rapidly expanding IT team, involved in international projects serving logistics innovation at DACHSER.

Within the IT Data Management team, you will participate in the development and evolution of the Group's Data platforms and solutions in an international context.

As part of the reinforcement of our Data Management activity, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (M/F) to join our international team.

Your missions:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data flows.
• Implement data integration processes using NiFi, Airflow, Apache Kafka, and Universal Messaging.
• Guarantee the quality, integrity, and security of data throughout its lifecycle.
• Participate in technology monitoring and the evaluation of new solutions.
• Collaborate closely with BI, Data Scientists, and Cloud Engineers teams.

You have a higher education background in computer science, data, information systems, or equivalent (Master's degree), and you possess significant experience in the field of data management and exploitation.

Additional requested knowledge:

• Mastery of SQL and solid experience in Python development applied to data.
• Good knowledge of Azure Cloud environments as well as data platforms such as Teradata, Cloudera, or Databricks.
• Good mastery of modern databases.
• Experience with management and automation tools such as Jira, Git, and Terraform.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical curiosity and interest in new technologies.

Comfortable in collaborative environments, you are recognized for your analytical capacity, your rigor, and your ability to work effectively with various stakeholders in a multicultural context.

As our IT organization evolves in an international context, you have a good level of English (minimum B2) as well as good written and oral communication skills.

Up to 10 days of teleworking per month for this position.
