Your tasks

Reporting to the Customs department of our Lyon-Thil agency and directly integrated into the teams of our Contact Logistics site in Pont d'Ain, your main mission will be to ensure the management and monitoring of customs declarations for goods transiting through our warehouse.

As a Customs Declarant M/F, your tasks will be to:

• Establish customs declarations allowing the release and transport of goods
• Inform customers about the various current customs regulations
• Defend the interests of the company and customers in case of customs disputes
• Act as the interface between the customer and customs administrations
• Act as an advisor on transport files if they can be validated on a legal level
• Perform legal monitoring.

Requirements

With higher education in transport / logistics with a specialty in customs, you benefit from confirmed experience that has allowed you to develop and put into practice your expertise in the field.

As the group operates in an international context, you have a good level of English and benefit from strong writing and oral skills.

You master the techniques and tools of declaration and the documentation related to international trade.

You also possess a good mastery of office tools.

Endowed with good interpersonal skills, you are rigorous, organized, and tolerant of pressure. Your listening skills make you a preferred interlocutor. You also know how to be proactive and know how to manage priorities.

Internally, you also know how to work in collaboration with all the services, agencies, and subsidiaries of the group.
