grounds maintenance labourer

*Responsibilities & Requirements*:

Work full time as part of a team of Grounds Maintenance Labourers to provide professional services for commercial, residential, and institutional properties in the Niagara Region.

-Operate various small engine grounds maintenance equipment as well as a variety of commercial mowers

-Drive company truck to job sites

-Maintain equipment on a daily basis

-Ability to lift 50+ pounds

-Meet at shop in Niagara Falls each morning

-Must be reliable, hardworking, energetic, attention to detail, and able to work well as a team player

-Winter work (snow removal work available in winter months)

*Job Duties:*

-Cut and trim lawns

-Garden work: weed, cultivate, and edge flower beds

-Trim bushes

-Spring and Fall clean ups

-Pick up litter and debris

-Installation of sod

-Installation of mulch

*Experience, Education, and Skills:*

-Experience working with grounds maintenance machinery for a landscaping company or related experience an asset.

-Class G Drivers License is an asset

*Wage: *

-Hourly starting wage will depend upon experience Range: $18 to $20 per hour
