CNC MILLING MACHINIST/SETTER

Job Description Responsible for production of varying models of precision components parts, and participating in components parts preparation and line assembly operations. Responsible for the development of tools and fixtures as needed for production purposes. Responsibilities

• Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, ensuring quality and safety standards are met or exceeded.
• Performing quality checks, recording/maintaining data, verifies conformance of parts to specifications.
• Ability to edit programs, change offsets and reduce set-up time.
• Read and interpret blue prints.
• Analyse written specifications, drawings, rough sketches and verbal instructions to plan layout and determine sequence of operations.
