HGV Class 1 Driver
£15.50 - £18 per hour depending on whether you are paid PAYE or LTD
Complete Workforce Solutions are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 / C+E Drivers for regular day work from a busy transport and pallet network operation based in Peterlee, County Durham .
We have multiple requirements throughout September covering multidrop deliveries, collections and pallet network work across the North East.
The role HGV Class 1 / C+E driving
- Day shifts
- Typical 07:00 starts
- Multidrop deliveries
- Collections
- Pallet network distribution
- Local and regional routes
- Regular weekday shifts
- Multiple drivers required
- Ongoing temporary work
- Potential temp-to-perm opportunities
Routes will primarily cover areas including:
- NE postcodes
- SR postcodes
- DH postcodes
- TS postcodes
There is a mixture of work available including standard Class 1 day routes, TPN pallet network work and regional deliveries and collections.
Driver requirements You must have:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 / Category C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Previous multidrop or pallet network experience would be advantageous
- Professional and reliable approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
Pay £15.50 - £18 per hour depending on whether you are paid PAYE or LTD.
The applicable rate will depend on your method of engagement and will be confirmed before assignment.
LTD company engagement is subject to the appropriate employment status and eligibility requirements.
