7.5T Delivery Driver – Marsh Leys

About the company

CWS Jobs is recruiting 7.5T Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client in Kempton.

Your tasks

• Safely drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle on planned delivery routes.
• Work as part of a two-person crew to unload and carry goods into customers’ properties.
• Handle heavy and bulky items safely, including deliveries involving stairs.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

• Valid Category C1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Ability to carry out regular heavy lifting safely.
• Good communication skills and a reliable approach.
• Previous multi-drop or heavy-goods home delivery experience is desirable.

Other

You’ll work alongside a driver’s mate, completing multi-drop deliveries of furniture, white goods and other bulky household items to customers’ homes. Expected start times between 05:00am-06:00am on 8-12hr duties.
