Customs Declarant (CH-Basel)

Purpose of the position We are looking for experienced and motivated Customs Declarants  who are eager to work in a dynamic, international, and technology-driven environment. This role is essential for ensuring smooth and compliant customs operations while embracing the latest digital customs solutions.

Main Responsibilities Prepare and verify customs documentation in compliance with national and international regulations

Manage customs declarations and perform clearance procedures

Handing out customs documents to clients

Communicate with clients

Stay up to date with evolving customs regulations

Collaborate with customs teams across Europe

Requirements Experience in customs operations with knowledge of regulations and clearance procedures , more than 2 years

Knowledge of customs laws and clearance processes

Proficiency in customs systems, ERP software, and a strong inclination towards using digital automation tools

Fluent in English

Fluent in German

Allowance to work in Switzerland

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to digital workflows

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
