Embedded C++ / Python Developer Engineer - Drone Autopilot (M/F)

The context We are supporting a European leader in drones in the evolution of its aircraft's autopilot. You will join the embedded R&D team and work on the core of the drone's behavior: the finite state machine, sensor integration, and estimation algorithms.

Your missions

• Maintain and test the drone's embedded functions, respecting the product specification and its constraints
• Specify, document, and develop new functions, with the automation and image quality teams
• Analyze flight logs and fix bugs
• Perform code reviews
• Track bugs and software quality indicators
• 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded software development
• Confirmed C++ and solid mastery of object-oriented programming
• Confirmed Python (log analysis, test scripts, automation)
• Experience with finite state machines in a real system
• Fluent English
• Curious, proactive, rigorous, and comfortable working with multiple teams

The pluses

• Experience in drones, robotics, aeronautics, or automotive
• Knowledge of sensors and estimation (IMU, GPS, Kalman filter)
• PX4, ArduPilot, or ROS environments, and SITL/HIL simulation
