BI and ETL Informatica Cloud Techno-Functional Consultant M/F

Within our IT consulting firm, we support major financial institutions and asset management companies in structuring and valuing their data. As part of a team reinforcement for our client, we are looking for a BI and ETL Techno-Functional Consultant.

You will join a cross-functional BI and ETL team working in Agile Scrum methodology. As the team is distributed internationally, a good command of English is required to collaborate daily with our engineers based in India and the operations teams.

Your Missions: Acting cross-functionally across the entire decision-making chain (from collection to reporting), your responsibilities will include:

1. Data Design and Engineering (ETL and Modeling)

• BI Modeling: Analyze business needs, study source/destination data models, and develop BI-oriented database models (Datamarts, cubes).
• ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize the Datamart feeding chain components via Informatica Cloud Data Integration.
• Flows and Migration: Develop mapping rules, validate extraction/transformation scripts, and coordinate the implementation of new transfer flows (in connection with operations and partners).

1. Reporting and Analytics (BI)

• Dashboards and Reporting: Design interactive dashboards and decision-making analysis reports under Power BI or Tableau (Import mode, DirectQuery, LiveQuery) to facilitate strategic choices for business departments.
• Integration and Testing: Perform integration tests, validate reporting (cubes, charts), support production deployment, and ensure corrective/evolutionary maintenance.

1. Steering, Method, and Support

• Agile Ceremonies: Actively participate in team life (Sprint Planning, Daily, Grooming, Retrospective) and estimate the complexity of new User Stories in Jira.
• MCO and Incidents: Ensure the monitoring of production incidents, the resolution of complex breakdowns, and communication with stakeholders.
• Documentation: Write technical and functional documentation on Confluence.

With higher education in computer science (Master's degree / Engineering school or equivalent), You have a proven experience of at least 8 years in a similar position.

Required technical skills:

• ETL / Data Integration: Confirmed mastery of Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS).
• Databases & SQL: Excellent mastery of Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase ASE (SQL language, stored procedures, optimization).
• BI Reporting: Experience in creating reports and dashboards via Power BI or Tableau Software. Knowledge of SSAS models and cubes is an asset.
• Environment & Scheduling: Practice of Unix environments and the Control-M (CTRLM) scheduler.
• CRM / Sources: Appreciated knowledge of data retrieval and plugging from environments such as SalesForce.
