Transport Planner Italy

As a Transport Planner, you are responsible for organizing, coordinating, and monitoring daily transport activities within an international environment. You ensure that everything proceeds according to plan and proactively intervene when the planning needs to be adjusted unexpectedly.

A glimpse into your package of tasks:

• You are responsible for the daily planning and coordination of transport orders
• You ensure the efficient deployment of drivers, vehicles, and transport resources
• You maintain contact with drivers, transport partners, terminals, and internal departments
• You actively monitor transports and adjust in case of delays, changes, or problems
• You quickly seek practical solutions when the planning changes
• You ensure correct administrative processing and follow-up of transport files
• You contribute to smooth service delivery and clear communication between all parties involved

Who are we looking for?

• Preferably has initial experience within logistics, transport, or an operational environment
• Works accurately and structured and can set priorities easily
• Can express themselves fluently in Italian and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Is communicative and social and enjoys working with various parties
• Is stress-resistant and flexible and maintains an overview even in unexpected situations
• Thinks proactively and enjoys looking for practical solutions
• Demonstrates a healthy dose of responsibility and initiative
