Junior Automation Engineer

As a Junior Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the automation of new machines and installations. You will be involved in the full automation cycle: from PLC programming and SCADA to testing, commissioning, and support for international customers.

As a Junior Automation Engineer, you are responsible for:

• Programming PLC controls for new machines
• Developing and configuring SCADA applications
• Programming according to the functional description of the machine
• Performing functional final tests before delivery
• Supporting upgrades and service interventions on existing machines
• Collaborating with electrical engineers and project managers for the selection of PLC and network components
• Coordinating the automation planning within ongoing projects
• Traveling internationally to support the installation and startup of machines (approximately 30%)

For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic engineer who is eager to work with industrial automation. You have an analytical mindset, learn quickly, and enjoy collaborating on technical projects.

As a Junior Automation Engineer, you possess:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a similar field of study
• Strong interest in PLC programming and industrial automation
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams and the ability to read and interpret them
• Interest in SCADA systems and machine control
• Affinity with programming languages such as .NET, C++, C# or SQL is a plus
• Independent, structured, and problem-solving work attitude
• Hands-on mentality and customer-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30% both within and outside Europe)
• Good knowledge of English
