Solution Manager

Our client specializes in energy management solutions (low voltage electrical power) and prefabricated modular datacenters. They deliver engineering solutions, primarily for sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare, and utilities, in which they have extensive expertise in the custom development of voltage converters and emergency power sets. As a center of knowledge, they offer custom solutions that are developed and produced together with the customer. They have their own production facilities and are currently active with more than 70 employees.

Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Solution Manager for the power solutions department.

Job Description

As a solution manager, you will support the sales team of the power solutions department with your technical expertise.

You will be responsible for the following set of tasks:

• Developing complex product designs and preparing quotes in close cooperation with Inside Sales.
• Full follow-up of quotes, from start to completion.
• Defending technical aspects of quotes during customer meetings when necessary.
• Creating strong sales arguments, documentation, and price lists to support the sales team and achieve goals together.
• Establishing and monitoring pricing and margin policies.
• Preparing and executing an effective product marketing plan.
• Continuously monitoring the market, actively looking for new products and opportunities.
• Following market innovations and translating these innovations into existing products and solutions.
• Developing and executing promotional campaigns; determining content and actively participating in trade fairs, seminars, training, and promotional activities.

The ideal candidate largely possesses the following:

• In possession of a degree in industrial engineering in electricity, electronics, or electromechanics, or you have extensive experience as a bachelor in electrical engineering within an industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of low voltage systems (both DC, AC, and transformers) or you are motivated to master this quickly.
• You are familiar with modern energy technologies.
• You have strong social skills and a commercial mindset.
• You think in solutions and are innovative in your approach.
• Continuous learning and further developing yourself is essential to you.
• You take responsibility and show ownership in your work.
• Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.
