The company combines its own engineering and machinebouw with a strong international service organization and has activities and teams in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Job Description
As an International Service Engineer Machinebouw, you will technically follow machines from the final checks in the workshop to installation and service at the customer. - Before shipment, you perform the final technical inspection and check whether the machine was correctly assembled according to plan.
- You check whether all parts and functionalities are present according to the technical specifications and quote.
- You perform functional tests and participate in the final release of the machines.
- You provide maintenance and technical service interventions at customers.
- In case of technical malfunctions or complaints, you analyze the problem and, if necessary, go to the site yourself to provide a solution.
- You work both at customers within Europe and at international locations outside Europe.
- You report on performed interventions and handle the administrative follow-up of service orders.
- You report technical findings and problems back to the internal engineering and service teams.
- You give technical presentations and training, both internally and to customers.
- You represent the company in a professional and customer-oriented manner and explain projects, machines, and technical solutions.
For this position of International Service Engineer Machinebouw, we are looking for someone with a strong electromechanical basis who enjoys practical work and consciously chooses an international career path. - You possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Elektromechanica or an equivalent technical education.
- Experience within machinebouw, service, commissioning, or industrial technology is a plus, but not a requirement.
- You possess good knowledge of electromechanics and have an interest in both mechanical and electrical technology.
- You are hands-on and enjoy working on machines yourself and solving technical problems.
- You can work independently, set priorities, and take responsibility.
- You are eager to learn and willing to deepen your knowledge of high-tech machines and processes.
- You have a customer-oriented mindset and communicate smoothly with various technical and non-technical interlocutors.
- You are willing to give presentations and technical training to customers.
- You are very flexible regarding international travel and are willing to work abroad up to 80% of your time.
- A very good knowledge of English is necessary given the international working environment.
