MEP Supervisor - Plumbing

Job Responsibilities Supervise and oversee plumbing, sanitary, storm drainage, industrial drainage, and domestic water installation works. Supervise installation of drainage/water supply piping, sump pumps, booster pump sets, water tanks, valves, traps, and plumbing fixtures. Coordinate plumbing and drainage routes with architectural, structural, civil, and other MEP services. Review plumbing drawings, schematics, specifications, and method statements. Monitor pipe jointing, gravity falls/gradients, pipe sleeving through structures, and waterproofing penetrations. Coordinate hydrostatic pressure testing, gravity flow testing, water tightness tests, flushing, and disinfection activities. Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, workmanship, and construction progress. Identify and resolve site coordination, clash, and installation issues. Monitor defects, outstanding works, and punch-list close-out to ensure compliance with PUB standards and project specifications. Requirements Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant plumbing, sanitary, MEP, or EPC construction experience. Certified in MOM-accredited safety courses (e.g., BCSS / SSSC); possession of CSCPM or a Licensed Plumber (PUB) qualification will be an added advantage. Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin is preferred to liaise with local authorities, main contractors, and workers. Proven ability to oversee plumbing and drainage site construction activities. Experience supervising plumbing subcontractors and site workers. Able to read and interpret plumbing and drainage layout drawings, schematics, and riser diagrams. Experience in industrial, commercial, or high-tech projects will be an advantage.
