MEP Supervisor - I&C / FMCS

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of the Facility Monitoring and Control System (FMCS), Building Management System (BMS), and field Instrumentation & Controls (I&C).
• Supervise installation and calibration of process field instruments (e.g., flowmeters, pressure/temperature/level transmitters, gas detection sensors, analytical probes, and control valves).
• Supervise installation of DDC/PLC control panels, remote I/O racks, signal cabling, and network communication interfaces.
• Coordinate FMCS interfaces and interlocks with HVAC, electrical, cleanroom, and process utility systems.
• Review control schematics, P&IDs, I/O point lists, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and method statements.
• Coordinate signal loop checking, point-to-point verification, sequence of operations testing, system integration, and commissioning.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of control logic, network, and field device communication issues.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, workmanship, and construction progress.
• Ensure I&C/FMCS works comply with project quality, calibration standards, safety, and commissioning requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant FMCS, BMS, I&C, controls, or MEP/EPC experience.
• Certified in MOM-accredited safety courses (e.g., BCSS / SSSC); possession of CSCPM or specialized PLC/DCS automation certifications will be an added advantage.
• Good command of both English and Mandarin is preferred to communicate across multidisciplinary engineering teams and vendor specialists.
• Proven ability to oversee site installation, loop checking, and device calibration activities.
• Hands-on experience with PLC/DDC architectures, Modbus/BACnet/Profibus protocols, control panels, and field instrumentation.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, and control wiring schematics.
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, or high-tech process facilities is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-discipline coordination skills.
