Senior Value Stream Recipe Owner (m/f/x)

Tasks

• Coordination and collaboration with the owner of the work package's libraries and standards as well as the Value Stream Owner to ensure compliance with defined standards and the intended use of library modules (in the event of changes within the scope of operational support and in local complex projects.)
• Installation and configuration according to ISA-S88/S95 according to project phases: requirements definition, detailed design creation, software configuration, system integration, and qualification tests.
• Alignment and review of results from the various Execution System work packages as Recipe Lead.
• Design and implementation of the overall recipe in accordance with engineering and manufacturing requirements for the operation of the plant.
• Review of the process system documentation.
• Participation in the creation and testing of software in terms of User Requirements, including instructing troubleshooting and corrections if necessary.
• Ensuring project results from the Execution Systems area as a technical project subject matter expert, including supervision and review of contractors/integrators working during the planning, construction, commissioning, and validation phases of CAPEX projects & OPEX initiatives & changes.
• Supporting the respective organizational project managers to ensure the timely completion of results for the various milestones in the overall project.
• Ensuring the correct technical prioritization of project activities.
• Creation of the validation plan in coordination with a quality function, taking into account the quality systems to be applied.
• Control and monitoring of the implementation of the measures defined in the validation plan.
• Execution and/or ensuring of validation work.
• Summarization and assessment of validation results.
• Creation and updating of SOPs, operating, and project documentation based on internal and external specifications.
• Coordination of ES investigations and CAPA processing. (Initiation of suitable measures in coordination with other specialist departments (e.g., Production, Quality) and external service providers. Definition and monitoring of measures for error prevention.)
• Ensuring Change Management for equipment and processes of the Execution Systems department in cooperation with the Value Stream Recipe Owner Lead.
• Development of validation test cases and execution of tests.
• Identification and assessment of improvement potential, i.e., process optimization and redefinition of processes (Business Re Engineering) in cooperation with the specialist departments and the supervisor.
• Local contact person for specialist departments and customer groups.
• Building strong relationships with the customer base.
• Ensuring understanding of current manufacturing processes within the Value Stream in cooperation with the Value Stream network.
• Ensuring 24/7 support of the running systems.

Skills and Experience

• Typically a completed degree Bachelor of Science, e.g., in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, etc.
• Very good knowledge of PCS7 / Batch/Route Control, MES: PAS-X, OpCenter, project methodology according to PMI or Kepner Tregoe, SQL
• Very good knowledge of Siemens PLC & DCS/PCS, and Siemens or Werum MES systems, database management in the GMP environment, production processes
• English Level 2
• 4-5 years of relevant professional experience in Execution Systems/Automation design & support
